In 2022, UN Climate Reports delivered a sobering ‘final warning and timeline’. To limit global warming to 1.5°C or even 2°C, we need to peak carbon emissions before 2025, and reduce it by 48% by 2030.

There is now a 93% likelihood that our world will break the 1.5°C limit by 2026, the first breach of a threshold set to avoid irreversible damage and the worst impacts of global warming. The UN urgently asks all countries to bring forward their net zero plans to 2040.
