Located in canton of Aargau, Northwestern Switzerland, the Töpferhaus Foundation supports mentally challenged people with professional and social integration. Around 40 people benefit from adapted workplace in their workshop at the two locations. Under professional guidance, they are involved in production processes that result in high-quality and sustainable products.
In addition to pasta and baked goods, fine pralines are also produced as well as fresh products such as salads, mueslis and sandwiches. The collection of greeting cards is particularly wide-ranging. Impressed by the zero-waste dough created by Chef Martin Göschel of The Alpina Gstaad, the foundation collaborated with the hotel to produce pasta with leftover bread from the nearby Jaisli bakery. Officially launched in mid-October, the Pasta di Pane is sold and includes a recipe suggestion from Martin Göschel. Bagged in paper packaging and labelled with a stamped mask, each packet of Pasta di Pane is a handmade quality product.
