Visiting Saanenland with children

Gstaad welcomes its youngest visitors with Saani – a furry mascot goat – whom they will meet repeatedly throughout their stay.

Saani has some amazing mountain and sensory experiences in store. They include entertaining trails that take families on an adventure to explore the villages of the Saanenland, and sometimes, the wonderfully cuddly animal is out and about in the Saanenland itself. Spending time in Olga’s cowshed, a brand-new indoor playground on the Rinderberg, is always a thrill -  not just  in bad weather! Speaking of playing, the Alpenruhe Foundation in Saanen has created an amazing place for children with its 1,600 square metres adventure world, where a sandpit, a children’s railway and a large pirate ship wait to be explored. And when the mountain lake is too cold for swimming, you can splash around in Gstaad’s indoor swimming pool and enjoy the big slide. Still eager for more? Children can learn new bike skills on two pump tracks, and things might get really wild on the Alpine Coaster, high up on Glacier 3000.

Warm welcome to the digital magazine of The Alpina Gstaad to discover the secrets of its region and philosophy.
